SHINee’s Key, ITZY’s Yuna and Boom will be the MCs for SBS Gayo Daejeon 2021 which takes place on December 25 at 6 p.m. KST (2:30 p.m. IST) at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon with the theme “Welcome”. The charming theme captures the hope of returning to a time when singers and fans, as well as music and people, can come together and share in-person contacts after spending some non-contact time face to face.
The K-pop artists who made it shine this year will present special performances worthy of the keyword “Welcome” to make this year’s Christmas even brighter. MC programming will include Boom, who has hosted the show for two consecutive years and is also known for his wit and humor; SHINee’s Key, who makes his music solo and carries on promotional activities; and Generation 4 star Yuna of ITZY, who wowed fans with his incredible host skills as the special MC on SBS’s “Inkigayoâ€.
Fans are hoping to see a brilliant synergy and chemistry between the three MCs. For the uninitiated, SBS Gayo Daejeon is an annual TV music festival that is broadcast by the Seoul Broadcasting System at the end of each year.
