The ASRock Z690 Taichi Razer Edition is the result of a collaboration between the company and Razer and the third product developed by ASRock and Razer together.
Its material should be identical to the Z690 Taichi vanilla in terms of specifications. The design, inspired by Razer Chroma, sets it apart from the competition. The motherboard passive heat sinks have been modified to match the appearance of the Razer Blade. The Z690 Taichi Razer Edition comes pre-installed with Razer Chroma technology.
So the Z690 Taichi Razer Edition is expected to include a 20-phase power supply subsystem on an eight-layer PCB, along with the same 105A SPS and 90A premium power chokes as the standard Z690 Taichi Razer Edition. Additionally, the motherboard includes two 8-pin EPS power to make sure your Alder Lake processor is getting enough power to overclock. The motherboard has four DDR5 memory slots that can accommodate DDR5-6400 +, XMP 3.0 modules and memory modules with a maximum capacity of 128 GB.
There are a multitude of storage options available. Six SATA III connectors as well as three M.2 2280 slots (two PCIe 4.0 x4 and one SATA III) are included in the price of the system. SATA ports are capable of supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10, but M.2 slots are only capable of supporting RAID 0, 1, and 5. In addition to a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot, the motherboard offers three PCIe 5.0 x16 slots. expansion slots and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. PCIe 16 slots behave differently depending on how many PCIe devices you have installed on your motherboard. When using a single graphics card, the primary expansion slot runs at PCIe 5.0 x16, while using two graphics cards reduces the performance of the two expansion ports at PCIe 5.0 x8. When the third device is added, it is compatible with PCIe 5.0×8 and 4.0×4 expansion slots.
The Z690 Taichi Razer Edition comes with two Intel Thunderbolt 4 ports. Gigabit Ethernet is supported by Intel’s I219V controller, while 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet is supported by Killer’s E3100G controller. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth are also supported by the motherboard.
