The KEA Time-of-Flight (ToF) Camera Development Kit (CDK) is designed to maximize flexibility while delivering clean, high-quality 3D data from product development to production. Users can optimize performance with Chronoptics’ software-defined 3D ISP, simplify prototyping with intuitive configuration tools and SDK, and deploy to the edge with expanded functionality and on-camera processing. The camera simultaneously outputs 3D deep infrared brightness and RGB images. The unit measures 100 × 40 × 35 mm, offers a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels (VGA), integrates the Melexis MLX75027 ToF sensor and offers a field of view of 62° × 49°. It is compatible with USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI interfaces. API support is for C, C++, Python, Matlab, ROS, OpenCV, and PCL. Its maximum frame rate is 40 FPS deep @ VGA (Embedded) and its configurable operating distance is 0.4-15m.
