Wofford transfer Max Klemit recently narrowed its list of picks to four. Making the cut were South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Clemson and Colorado State.

While Wisconsin didn’t land on this list, the Badgers will host Klesmit this weekend for an official visit, his father confirmed to 247sports.

As a sophomore, Klesmit averaged 14.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 44.6 percent from the field, including 34.0 percent from 3-point range. Klesmit also started all 31 games for the Terriers en route to being named the third-team all-conference.

Klesmit has scored in double figures in all but five games this season, including a career-high 27 points against South Carolina on Nov. 23.

A native of Neenah, Wis., Klesmit played 19 games as a true rookie in 2020-21, including two starts. He averaged 8.2 points and 2.7 rebounds, while shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from 3-point range. He was also named to the SOCON All-Freshman team that year as well.

While at Neenah, Klesmit was a three-time All-State Pick and Fox Valley Association Player of the Year as a senior.

Klesmit still has two years of eligibility, three if he chooses to use his NCAA-granted extra season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

UW has already landed a former state star from the NCAA transfer portal, signing the former UW-Green Bay product and Racine St. Catherine Kamari McGee earlier this month.
